The premiere of my new piece The Other Translation in Graz by a mix of students from Grazy and Basel. The Other Translation explores the possibilities that arise when the act of translating goes awry. By mistranslating a 16th century Kannada poem, I noticed a possibility for fabulating meaning and glimpsing the echoic nature of cultural memory.
